Shoulder (Trapezius) Tension / Slimming
Trapezius / shoulder treatment targets at the upper portion of trapezius which is a large muscle that covers the neck, shoulder and the back. In a few weeks, the treated muscles start to relax and soften, resulting in a reduction in size and a longer neck. The treatment also helps reduce the neck and shoulder tension from overused or overdeveloped muscles.
What are the side effects?
Minimal discomfort can occur. Over-treating the muscle can result in patients temporarily being unable to shrug the shoulders or raise their arms properly. During our consultation, a treatment plan will be discussed tailoring to the individual muscle size and desired treatment outcome.
How many treatments would I consider?
Some people with large and trained muscles may need another treatment within the first 3 months to get a more significant result.
2-4 treatments every 4-6 months may be required to achieve long-lasting reduction outcome
Revisit once a year is commonly required to maintain results
Post treatment care:
Refrain from doing strenuous activities for 24 hours after the procedure
Contraindications:

Patients with systemic neuromuscular junction disorders (eg myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)
