Facial Volume Enhancement

Aging is a gradual, natural process that begins in early adulthood. Genetics and lifestyle choices such as smoking, diet, sun exposure, exercise, and exposure to pollution all play a significant role on how we age.

Aging affects every layer of tissue, including skin, fat pads, ligaments, muscles, and bone. Understanding this helps us select the most effective treatments tailored to each individual’s unique facial structure. In most cases, a combination of treatments is needed to achieve natural-looking results.

Skin: A decline in collagen, elastin, and moisture retention leads to thinning, sagging skin, which contributes to wrinkles, furrows, and fine lines. To counteract these effects, we recommend a personalized at-home skincare regimen combined with in-clinic treatments to strengthen and tighten the skin.

Muscles: Muscles: With age, facial muscles become stronger while collagen and elastin weaken, leading to the formation of creases and wrinkles in the skin. We recommend a targeted at-home skincare regimen combined with Wrinkle Reduction treatments for optimal results.

Fat pads and Bone mass: With age, the facial skeleton and fat pads shrink, reducing support for the overlying muscles and soft tissue. This can lead to noticeable changes such as hollow temples, sunken eyes, deep tear troughs, flattened cheeks, and thinner lips, all of which contribute to a tired or aged appearance. A carefully tailored Volume Enhancement treatment can help restore facial contours, creating a more refreshed and youthful look while maintaining natural results.
